NERANG CONTEMPORARY DANCE CLASSES
Contemporary dance is an extension to the classical technique. Students learn about technique, dynamics and expression through alignment, gravity, contraction, release and suspension. NERANG JAZZ DANCE CLASSES
Students love learning jazz at HDA! It’s fast, upbeat and fun – and a great workout. In jazz classes, we experiment with different music, dynamic routines and have a lot of fun. END OF YEAR CONCERT AND PERFORMANCE OPPORTUNITIES
Every year in December we stage an end of year production at The Arts Centre Gold Coast. What a showcase it is! The students love the opportunity to share their achievements from the year. Each class learns a routine and all students are involved – it’s a whole studio celebration! Costumes and stage makeup complete the show – just like professional dancers. NERANG BALLET LESSONS
For Nerang ballet lessons with world-renowned Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) syllabus. Weekly attendance varies according to age. Very young dancers attend lessons once a week. Primary (usually age 6) to Grade 5 must attend 2 ballet lessons per week. Vocational Level must attend a min 3 ballet lessons per week.

For students who seek specialised 1:1 coaching, HDA offers private lessons. These lessons are tailored to individual needs and are designed to help your dancer progress technically, learn performance solos and prepare for a career in dance.
